Director of KHOJ International Artists’ Association, Pooja Sood is an independent art curator and also an art management consultant. With responsibilities held at top art projects and programs, she is a well-known personality in the art arena of India.
Here is our feature about her.
LAB: What does Pooja Sood like to do besides Art and Curating?
POOJA: I generally love to read about the local fiction of the place that I am traveling to. I also enjoy the theatre and listen to all kinds of music.
LAB: What pushes you back on track?
POOJA: A to-do list to get things back in order. Cooking, cutting fresh flowers and putting them out, sitting down to read a book with a glass of wine, these small things make life better.
LAB: What or who has had the biggest influence on you?
POOJA: Art, art-making and the people I have worked within this industry have shaped me for the better.

LAB: What do you work towards every day?
POOJA: Be challenged by something new every day. Set up KHOJ in the way that I was brought up. I feel that there are lots to learn in life and look forward to.
